Biography
Hannah Leto is a photographer and fiber artist. Having always been inspired by the ability to tell stories and celebrate the beauty in the mundane, Hannah’s work explores vignettes of her past, personal investigation, and identity. In her recent series, Threads, Hannah challenges the audience to deconstruct symbols throughout their lives to discover how seemingly simple objects have shaped them. She documents flowers, a common motif within quilts, as a node to the nostalgic moments that bring these very quilts to life. Hannah utilizes a variety of techniques and mediums such as embroidery and collage in her photographic work. She completed her Bachelor in Fine Arts with a concentration in photography at the University of North Florida. Her work has been exhibited in the Mount Dora Art Gallery in 2021, the Mount Dora Craft Festival in 2023, the UNF Student Union in 2024, and at the Museum of Contemporary Art Jacksonville in 2025.
